U.S. and Syrian Kurdish forces have resumed “large-scale” counterterrorism operations against what remains of the Islamic State terrorist group in Syria, the New York Times reported Monday after a lull that began when President Trump appeared to order the U.S. withdraw from northern Syria on October 6.
